EVENTS/ENTERTAINMENT

VOYEUR: THE WINDOWS OF TOULOUSE-LAUTREC

NowNovember 22 | 6-9pm | $75+

The Duplex, 61 Christopher Street, New York, NY 10014

During this time, almost everyone is missing Broadway and live theater, which is one of the best things to do in NYC. So, for a different and immersive experience, be sure to check out Voyeur: The Windows of Toulouse-Lautrec. This experience“invites you to peer through the windows of old Paris, where unexpected moments of art, beauty, and seduction await you during this pandemic-friendly theatrical walking tour inspired by Bated Breath Theatre’s long-running immersive hit Unmaking Toulouse-Lautrec. In this open air, intimate theatrical experience, you and seven other masked audience members will be guided through the dreams of iconic artist Toulouse-Lautrec as he recalls his final absinthe-laced years living and working in Montmartre. The sidewalks, doorways, and windows of Greenwich Village become the setting as live accompaniment collides with the city’s soundscape, transporting you into the bohemian world of 1899 Paris.” – Voyeur: The Windows of Toulouse-Lautrec

Note: While this theatrical walking tour is primarily outdoors, you will be inside, socially distanced, for a short duration of the tour. Some venues are not wheelchair accessible. The tour requires that you are on your feet at all times. Ticket sales are non-refundable, but, transfers and exchanges are allowed when reasonable. All tour audience members are required to complete a COVID waiver before attending.
