New York is notoriously the city that never sleeps. Here, life goes by at an incredibly fast pace, everyone is in a hurry and rushing around. NY citizens may confirm that, you can spend your whole life here and never get to know it. So what should you do if you’re in New York for only three days and want to make the most of it? How do you have time to see all the sights and enjoy this amazing city? The answer is to plan a precise travel itinerary, which we will provide you with in this article.

Day 1 – Downtown Manhattan

First, if you’re a tourist who wants to see all the sights should think about his trip in advance. If you have limited time to travel but want to capture as much as possible, it is worth taking a BCS bus charter rental NYC. This way, you will not only save not only time, but money as well. The best place to start sightseeing is downtown Manhattan. Consider beginning your first day in New York City in Central Park: wandering the hills, taking a boat ride, watching the ducks or locals out for a jog. This will put you in the right frame of mind and set you up for a productive day.

On the edge of Central Park stands the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Pay attention to the major works by famous artists such as Monet, Van Gogh, and Renoir. After the Metropolitan Museum of Art, head to the north end of Central Park for the Guggenheim Museum. The best time to go to Times Square is at night, that’s when the neon lights on the giant billboard screens make a lasting impression.

Day 2 – Museums and theaters

No visit to New York would be complete without seeing a Broadway show. Before you go to the show, however, take a walk to the Museum of Modern Art. We recommend taking a couple of hours and visiting parts of the exhibition dedicated to the work of Andy Warhol, Salvador Dali and Jackson Pollock, there is no one who will remain indifferent. When you’re done with the museum, you can make your way to the Empire State Building, the city’s main observation deck. However, the most mesmerizing view can be seen from the top of Rockefeller Center.

Broadway productions start around 8 p.m., so you still have time to sit in a little restaurant. However, you can grab a slice of pizza or a hot dog and head to Wall Street. This is an amazing and narrow street, yet this is the place where the financial markets’ power brokers reside. From there, you can walk to the memorials commemorating the tragic events of September 11, 2001. Two of the fountains are at the sites where the twin towers stood. The nearby 9/11 Memorial and Museum will tell the story of that tragic day through multimedia displays and exhibits found under the rubble.

Day 3 – Statue of Liberty

First thing in the morning of your last day, get to the old High Line Train station. It’s turned into a gorgeous green alley where you can take lots of pictures. Follow it to the Hudson River, where you’ll find a ferry, take a short boat trip. The ferry follows you past the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island to the Brooklyn Bridge. Returning to the terminal, pay attention to the aircraft carrier, which stands nearby, currently it functions as a museum. In case there is not much time left, you can divide it into finding some souvenirs, but be on the lookout, as pickpockets in New York at every turn.

Before you leave, don’t forget to throw a coin into the Bethesda Fountain to make sure you will return to this city again. As no matter how many times you visit it in New York, there are always new things to see. Enjoy your trip!
