Kenzo Estate

Kenzo Estate formally opened on July 1, 2010 upon completion of The Tasting Room. By establishing The Tasting Room, Kenzo Tsujimoto achieved his long-standing aspiration to be able to welcome guests to the estate for a Winery Tour and Tasting and share his love of this enchanting site. At the same time, Kenzo Estate opened a Tasting Room and Restaurant in Tokyo, Hiroo, mirroring The Tasting Room in Napa. A strong desire for owner Kenzo Tsujimoto, who was aware that everyone would not have the ability to travel to Napa, the Tokyo location intended to recreate the experience at the Napa Tasting Room without leaving Japan. The grand opening of Kenzo Estate Napa and Kenzo Estate Tokyo was the culmination of Kenzo Tsujimoto’s two decades devoted to crafting the finest quality wines imaginable.

It was a brand new chapter in a very long story, which started four centuries earlier, half a world away. Twenty five years later, Artesa continues to focus on improving our vineyards and wines each year to showcase their unique character and personality.

Perhaps no other winery captures the multi-faceted beauty of this windswept, world-famous appellation as dramatically as the Artesa estate, where the fusion of architecture, artistry and wine growing reaches soaring heights.

Opus One Winery

Opus One Winery is a winery in Oakville, California, USA. The wine was called napamedoc until 1982 when it was named Opus One. The winery was founded as a joint venture between Baron Philippe de Rothschild of Château Mouton Rothschild and Robert Mondavi to create a single Bordeaux style blend based upon Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. It is located across State Route 29 from the Robert Mondavi Winery. The creation of this winery venture in 1980[1] was big news in the wine industry; de Rothschild’s involvement added an air of respectability to the burgeoning Napa wine region. The first vintage, 1979 was released in 1984 at the same time as the 1980 vintage. For a while it was the most expensive Californian wine costing 50 USD. In 1989 a new winery was built just down the road, the first vintage from the new winery was from 1991 and was released in 1994
