I laughed outloud the whole time and snorted at least three or four times. THAT’S how funny this was!! Truthfully I didn’t even remember the movie at all.
It’s not that i’m not a fan of Jurassic Park. I just haven’t seen the movie since it came out and i’m pretty sure I only saw it once. In no way did that keep me from enjoying this spectacle that was a reenactment of the whole damn movie. Yeah! I know! How!? This is how. Lot’s of props, a badass foley chick and two dudes who played no less than three characters every 90 seconds.
Broken umbrella’s, a construction cone, swimming goggles, DIY picture frames and a baseball cap with a mop attached to it were just some of the great makeshift props that they used. Every character from the movie was represented, yes, even the dinosaurs. The best part was that it was so surprisingly believable, they did such a fantastic job. The energy alone draws you in.
Get there early, grab some drinks, which by the way, didn’t break the bank at $7 for a beer and a shot, enter the theater for an hour to be thoroughly entertained then hang out after the show with the actors. It’s great for a weeknight because you can be home before midnight.
This is a good way to support local actors and theater groups. Don’t be a slacker because the show ends August 29th! Trust me you won’t be disappointed and you’ll for sure “experience more.”
