When I heard that Shanghai Mermaid’s legendary Juliette Campbell was throwing a Paris themed soiree, I knew I had to be there. It wasn’t only Parisian; it was 1920’s Parisian – two of the most glamorous styles combined.

The evening of the soiree, we jumped into our favorite fringe dresses, slid on our pearls, and hit the town with glam in hand. The event had everything you could imagine; cabaret performers, fire dancers, a live band, and beautifully dressed guests. 

As we sipped our cocktails, we could feel the excitement of the night in the air. Between performances, it seemed that the room itself was a show; guests looked as if they had stepped out of The Great Gatsby with fabulous furs, feathers, headbands, and pearls. The band played swanky music that brought even the shyest dancers to their feet begging for more.
