And thankfully, NYC is home to countless Irish pubs and restaurants, allowing you to support small businesses and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, safely, of course! Below are the best places in NYC to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.

MCSORLEY’S OLD ALE HOUSE

McSorley’s is a part of New York’s history. It was founded in 1854, making it the city’s oldest pub! It’s an old-time bar that stays authentic with Irish bartenders pouring only 2 ales (McSorley’s Light Ale and McSorley’s Dark Ale) and sawdust coating the floors. McSorley’s is an NYC staple and definitely worth a visit!
